Shintarō Asanuma stars in anime at Shin-Ei Animation studio, SynergySP
Kodoani.com – Square Enix revealed on Friday that the manga Mr. Villain’s Day Off (Kyūjitsu no Warumono-san) by Yuu Morikawa will get a television anime starring Shintarō Asanuma as Warmono-san (shogun).
Yoshinori Odaka directed the anime at Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP. Midori Gotou oversaw the series’ scripts, and Tomomi Shimazaki designed the characters for the animation. Nobuaki Nobusawa composed the music.
An Evil Organization from another planet is trying to take over Earth. An extraterrestrial from that organization named “General” tirelessly fights against the defenders of Earth every day in a mortal battle!
However, today is his day off.
Morikawa launched the manga on the Gangan pixiv website in 2018. Square Enix will release the compiled fourth volume on April 21.
