Kodoani.com – In this year’s March issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine, it was announced that the manga “Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Kuroneko if” by Airi Mori posted its final chapter on Friday. The fourth and final volume of the manga is scheduled to be released on February 26.
The manga is a creation based on the “Oreimo” novel volumes by Tsukasa Fushimi, providing an alternate ending to the main story, with Kyousuke ending up with Kuroneko. These volumes were identified as the 15th and 16th volumes of the novel series and were published in September 2020 and March 2021. The previous volumes 13 and 14 also carried the same idea, but with the character Ayase .
Airi Mori launched the manga in Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in July 2021.
Sakura Ikeda, who drew the manga adaptation of the novel series, also created the spin-off manga “Oreimo: Kuroneko” (Ore no Kouhai ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai), which began in 2011 and ended in 2015.
The story of this spin-off manga focuses on the alternating continuity between Kyousuke and Kuroneko.
The light novel “Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai” (Oreimo) by Fushimi and Hiro Kanzaki was released from 2008 to 2013. The novel has also been adapted into a television anime, with the first season airing aired in 2010 and a second season in 2013.
