Mengo Yokoyari draws short story 4 chapters [Oshi no Ko] -interlude- during the break
Kodoani.com – Aka Akasaka shared on Twitter on Friday that he has had to rest for about a month due to health, but has now returned to work. However, the manga”Oshi no Ko” and Mengo Yokoyari’s manga and manga “Renai Daikō” (Love Proxy) and Nishizawa 5mm are both on hiatus for about a month. The former will resume in the 42nd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine on September 14. and the latter will return in issue 41 of the magazine on September 7.
As an alternative, Yokoyari will draw a four-chapter short story about the plot of “Mem-Cho” titled “[Oshi no Ko] -interlude-” until the main manga returns.
Aka Akasaka (author of “Kaguya-sama: Love is War”) and Mengo Yokoyari (author of “Scum’s Wish”) launched the “Oshi no Ko” manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service is also releasing the manga digitally in English.
“Oshi no Ko” has been adapted into an anime series, with the first season premiering on April 12 and concluding with the 11th episode on June 28. The second season of the anime is in preparation.
