Kodoani.com – The seventh issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine, released on Thursday, announced that the manga Uma Musume: Cinderella Grey by author Taiyo Kuzumi, based on Cygames’ Uma Musume Pretty Derby series, will take a break to prepare for a new season and will return in the spring. The manga focuses mainly on the main character Oguri Cap.
Taiyo Kuzumi launched the manga in Weekly Young Jump in June 2020, and by December 2023, Shueisha published the 13th volume of the manga.
The first 13-episode Uma Musume Pretty Derby television anime season premiered in April 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the anime when it aired in Japan. The second season of the main anime Uma Musume Pretty Derby premiered in January 2021, while the third season was announced in October 2023.
The anime Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Road to the Top debuted in April 2023 on YouTube, depicting the rivalry between TM Opera O, Admire Vega, Narita Top Road, and other Uma Musume in Classic competitions.
Upcoming, Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Shinjidai no Tobira (Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era) will premiere in Japan on May 24 in a new anime film.
