Nito still blames himself for what happened to his grandfather. According to Nito, his father is someone who possesses great strength. But it was not enough to escape death. Nito concludes that being a normal person is the best possible solution. Since then, he started limiting himself to being as ordinary a person as possible.
The fact that he felt responsible for his grandfather’s condition did not help his case. Due to his shy nature, he became the focus of bullies in his class. However, in Nito’s mind, the boys were just friendly. Nito’s only friend in class is Fuchida Yuya. Fuchida was very good at sports but was never given a chance because at every club he joined he was treated like a gofer.
Fed up with their antics, Fuchida decides to study MMA or Mixed Martial Arts. Furthermore, he wants Nito to come try it with him. However, Nito sticks to the routine of a normal guy, not wanting to do it. He tells Fuchida that he has to take care of his grandfather and therefore he cannot go with him. However, Fuchida found a solution to his problem.

Nito explains that he doesn’t have time for extracurricular activities because taking care of his grandfather is a full-time job. To fix that, Fuchida found an MMA gym closer to home. He somehow managed to convince Nito to come check out the gym. However, trouble comes when the previous bullies try to get money from Nito.
That’s when Okibe Nao intervened. She started recording them, causing one of them to snatch her phone away. Now that there is a possible cause, Okibe performs a circle kick, but Nito has placed himself between Okibe and the bullies. He was hit and knocked down instantly. Nito wakes up at the Yoshi MMA Gym, which happens to be the same gym that Fuchida wants to go to.
Okibe introduced the duo to MMA Fighting Style. Fuchida was excited to participate but Nito was not so much. Since it was almost 5 pm, Nito had to stay behind to take care of his grandfather, but on the way, it was the bullies from before that stopped him. They ask him to steal Okibe’s phone when she records them bullying Nito and also to lure Fuchida to them so they beat him.
Nito, now pushed to his limits, realizes that there is nothing out of the ordinary in the way he is living. He realized that it was close to zero. The bullies, now outraged, try to attack Nito. By that time, all his years of coaching with his Grandfather had begun. He can take care of them all in quick succession. Okibe, who was quietly observing from afar, indicated her presence.
She asks Nito to come along and says she wants to fight him right then and there. She realizes that Nito is using multiple martial arts at the same time to defeat her enemies. In short, he is using the MMA Technique. Although very attractive, Nito still wants to get back to his grandfather. His grandfather asked how it felt to defeat his first enemy. Nito replied that he felt good but only a little.

Looks like all the years of training have paid off. Nito was able to easily defeat someone nearly twice his size. Furthermore, Okibe now wants to fight him after seeing his skills. I’m sure Fuchida would be most surprised since he didn’t know Nito had this skill. However, the consequences of his actions may be imminent as bullies may try to retaliate after their embarrassing defeat against someone everyone considers weak.
