Publisher launches website, social media accounts for upcoming sports card game
Kodoani.com – KLab Inc. announced on Friday that it will publish the game Haikyu!! Fly High by Changyou and Prophet Games – a mobile game based on the manga Haikyu!! famous. The company has launched the official website and social media accounts for the sports game.
Pre-registration and pre-ordering of the game is now open in Japan. Information on release in other regions will be announced at a later date. KLab Inc. described the game as follows:
“Haikyu!! Fly High is a sports card game with a main focus on building a collection. Famous scenes and quotes from the original animated series have been recreated in the game! Players can create their own team yourself and use a variety of strategies to conquer your way through matches. Not only fans of the original series will love Haikyu!! Fly High, but also volleyball lovers!”
Furudate launched the Haikyuu manga in 2011 and ended it in July 2020. Shueisha published the final volume (volume 45) in November 2020. Viz Media is publishing the manga digitally and in print, simultaneously The manga was published concurrently with the digital release in Japan. MANGA Plus also published the manga digitally in English.
Gekijoban Haikyu!! Gomi Suteba no Kessen (Haikyu!! the Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump), the first of two parts in the Haikyu!! will premiere in Japan on February 16 and will screen in IMAX.
The television anime adaptation of Production IG’s manga has been premiering since April 2014. The anime’s second season aired in October 2015 and the third season in October 2016. The first half of Haikyu!! To The Top, the fourth season, premiered in January 2020 and episode 13 aired in April 2020. The second half, episodes 14 to 25, was originally scheduled to premiere in July 2020, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The second half finally premiered in October 2020.
Manga has also inspired various projects such as stage plays, clay animation short films, compilation animations, and several video animations. The new stage play will run from August 19 to 27.
