Despite losing a lot in terms of video viewers, the number of followers on MrBeast’s YouTube channel has officially surpassed PewDiePie.
For the gaming community, PewDiePie has been a very familiar name with countless gaming videos with extremely “terrible” views. This guy even “matched followers” with YouTube channel T-Series (of an entertainment company in India), although he lost, this Swedish YouTuber has attracted a lot of attention from the community.
Until today, PewDiePie has officially been surpassed by MrBeast – another popular YouTuber with “luxury content” in the international gaming industry.
More specifically, MrBeast surpassed PewDiePie at the milestone of 111 million followers on YouTube and became the YouTuber (individual) with the most followers in the world. On the other hand, PewDiePie still shows that his videos are extremely attractive with the number of 28.5 billion views, while MrBeast has only reached 18.5 billion.
As for MrBeast, he is considered as “the richest YouTuber in the world”, the reason is that this guy often organizes contests and challenges with prizes up to millions of dollars. This is also the reason that many followers want to participate in this guy’s challenges and videos.
Recently, MrBeast also announced that he would “pocket” a LoL team in the LCS region (North America) to compete for a ticket to Worlds. So the gaming community is very eager to see the “million dollar content” that this guy brings to the Esports League of Legends village.
