Ryan Giggs re-read the poem he wrote for his ex-lover in front of judges and witnesses.
The former Manchester United player gave his ex Kate Greville (36 years old) a poem based on the letters of her last name. Giggs (48 years old) shared once confessed to Greville on New Year’s Eve 2017:
“G (gorgeous) is gorgeous, R (radiant) is radiant, E (extraordinary) is extraordinary, V (vivacious) is vivacious, I is I idolize you, L (legs) is legs, L (legs) is my legs, E (everything) is you is everything I wish for.”
In a text message sent to Manchester Crown Court, at the time Kate Greville responded to Giggs as follows:
“Honey, it’s great to wake up and see a message like that…. Good morning my baby, I know you think I’m amazing. I want to remind you once again how great you are and how happy you have made me.”
The poem was read to the jury on the morning of August 19. Giggs’ defense also sent hundreds of text messages to the court, confirming the good relationship between him and his ex-girlfriend.
Miss Greville also sent Giggs the poem:
“It would be better if we shared a bed. You made my heart skip a beat. I’ll be home in less than a month. And I really can’t wait. You need to understand that. I’m counting down the days. Think of all the ways to make your *** grow”
Ryan Giggs is alleged to have controlled behavior with Ms. Greville from 2017 until they broke up in 2020. In November 2020, the former Wales coach was also accused of violence with his ex-girlfriend at home. exclusively in Worsley, Greater Manchester.
Not stopping there, the legend of the “Red Devils” of Manchester was also accused of elbowing Emma Greville’s sister in the jaw during the controversy.
Giggs denies all charges and will have to present evidence in his defense in court.
