However, after witnessing the others fight to protect him, he regained his composure and in one somersault he knocked down all the grizzly bears with a giant fireball. Back in his room, he burned Eris’s lock of hair that he kept on as a first step to move on.

Rudeus decided to go back to his life and not be depressed anymore. He began to maintain his health and began to exercise more often. He started taking on more and more local missions to build a reputation for himself. He plans to make many friends who will spread his name to many places and hopefully Zenith as well. The townspeople know Rudeus as the Swamp and he seems to have returned to his cheerful self. After returning from the snow shoveling mission, Rudeus ran into Sara, who was there to ask if he wanted to join them on a mission. Rudeus was happy to do so. They are in the Ibron Cave with a mission to destroy the Snow Dragon. Little did they know that Ibron Cave and Galgau Ruins are related. When they are attacked, the snow dragons flee to Galgau Ruins, where they encounter Counter Arrow. After the misunderstanding was cleared, they returned. But Sara defended him and Suzanne apologized for her outburst.
