Rito Kohsaka's light novel adaptation was shelved in April
Kodoani.com – Website Gangan Online by Square Enix has posted a new chapter of the manga My Happy Marriagemarks the return of the manga series after an eight-month break. The manga is on hiatus from April 2024 to allow the author Rito Kohsaka working on the new compilation volume.
Emotional Romantic Story
Based on the novel of the same name by Akumi Agitogi and Tsukiho Tsukioka, My Happy Marriage is a historical romance inspired by Cinderella but with an added supernatural element.
Content summary:Miyo Saimori, a girl abandoned and despised by her family, is sent as a bride candidate for Kyoka Kudo, heiress of a powerful family. Although the Kudo family is known for being cold and cruel, Miyo gradually discovers that this house can be warmer than the place she once called “family”.

Manga My Happy Marriage was first published on Gangan Online in 2018. The fifth volume of the manga was published by Square Enix on July 11, 2024.

Anime:
The first part of the anime adaptation premiered in July 2023, with 12 episodes broadcast globally on Netflix. The second season will premiere on January 6, 2025 in Japan and stream on Netflix at the same time.
Movies:The live-action version of the novel was released in March 2023, reaching #1 at the box office in the first week. The film sold 479,700 tickets and earned 654 million yen (~4.97 million USD) in the first three days.
