Based on the light novels by Akumi Agitogi and Tsukiho Tsukioka, My Happy Marriage is being directed by Takehiro Kubota at Kinema Citrus studio, and stars Kaito as Kiyoka Kudo and Reina Ueda as Miyo Saimori.
Born without talent into a noble family known for her supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori was forced to live as a slave by her abusive stepmother. However, when Miyo finally reaches the age of marriage, her hopes for a better life go up in smoke after she discovers the identity of her fiancé: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander with a He seemed so cold and ruthless that his previous brides all fled within three days of their engagements. With no home to return to, Miyo resigned to her fate—and quickly realized that her beautiful and pale future husband was not the monster she expected.
