Froppy gets an upgrade in this new illustration from the series’ creator, Kōhei Horikoshi.
Kodoani.com – Horikoshi recently shared a special MHA pencil sketch on his Twitter account. Featuring Tsuyu Asui, also known as Froppy, in an all-new outfit with gadgets, technology, and light armor. The author left a note on the drawing claiming that the holidays give strength to the suit. This note, along with a sketch of the letters GW, has led many to believe that the illustration is an homage to Golden Week, a Japanese holiday when many manga publishers do not publish new content implementation.
The strongest jump June issue released today is a special feature of Hiroaka. I’m looking forward to reading it because it seems that a lot of people have cooperated with me. The attached picture is Tsuyu-chan from the beginning. pic.twitter.com/ZNySbKWQDP

Froppy’s Hero Outfit Details
The illustration shows Asui’s outfit in much more detail and complexity than the manga or anime. Her traditional suit comes with an overcoat covered by a pump and valve that connects to a reservoir on her back. She also has a great strength gauntlet that extends her hands, making them even more frog-like. In addition to all these details, the artwork depicts her wearing a pair of stylish sneakers paired with a pair of trousers that, again, mimic the shape of a frog.
Tsuyu Asui, who likes to be known by his friends as Tsu, is a member of Class 1-A at the prestigious UA High School. Her quirk, the frog, allows her to perform all of the same abilities as the said animal, complete with enhanced swimming abilities, jumping skills, tongue stretching, etc. has been a popular part of the series since its introduction, despite getting lost in the mix of MHA’s large cast of characters as the story progresses.
Horikoshi’s manga is in the “Last War” section, which is part of the larger “Last Act” story. The story sees the battle between pro/U student heroes and the All for One villain grow increasingly intense. In addition, the anime adaptation of Studio Bones recently ended its sixth season, adapting the “Mystic Liberation War” and “Dark Hero” seasons. The latter saw the main character, Izuku Midoriya, transform into a bodyguard known to fans as “Dark Deku”. The anime season ends with the arrival of a new hero from America.
