My Hero Academia is a new generation Anime series set in a fictional world where about 80% of the population has developed a Super Power called Quirk or Quirk.

One of the standout aspects of the work is the stiff competition between the main character, Deku (Izuku Midoriya) and Kacchan (Katsuki Bakugou) to become the Number One Hero to save society from the raging villains. .

Midoriya, initially a powerless boy, later has the opportunity to compete with other Heroes, while Bakugou, who has always been extremely talented, possesses extremely powerful Superpowers.

Both ambitious and ambitious young men are constantly competing fiercely in the hopes of trying to become stronger and superior to the other.

In My Hero Academia, Midoriya and Bakugou often compare themselves to each other. However, there were times when Bakugou definitely proved himself stronger than Deku.

Here, invite readers to Vietotaku Take a look back at five times the hot-tempered Bakugou showed himself to surpass his best friend Deku through the article below.

Bakugou and Midoriya against All Might

Bakugou and Midoriya against All Might

During the first semester’s final exam, Bakugou and Midoriya faced off against their teacher, All Might, in a mock match. Students must defeat their teacher or pass through the portal without getting hurt.

In contrast to Midoriya, who is always preoccupied with getting out of a dilemma, Bakugou displays his strength, dedication, and combat prowess throughout the encounter.

Since Midoriya intends to run away and Bakugou wants to defeat All Might, the two seem to need help working together. Midoriya and Bakugou (reluctantly) took a step back temporarily.

Bakugou suggested using his stun grenade on All Might and then running away as a strategy to defeat him, the two of them considering the possibility.

After realizing that their strategy against the fearsome Hero would fail, Bakugou devises a plan in which he is in charge of distracting All Might while Midoriya escapes through the portal.

Even for a professional Hero, capturing All Might, the Peace Symbol is no easy task. Bakugou completes it in time, setting the stage for their success.

Sports Festival

Students of all ages and majors are encouraged to showcase their skills at the annual UA Games.

Students in Class 1-A participate in a match at the annual Sports Festival. Bakugou and Midoriya were both rivals in the tournament, they were involved in some fierce encounters.

In the end, Bakugou was the winner and claimed the title of champion. In his final match, Bakugou faced off against Todoroki, the son of Fire Hero Endeavour.

Sports Festival

In a fierce battle, Bakugou prevailed against his opponent using the Half-Heat, Half-Ice Superpower. Midoriya had previously faced Todoroki and lost to him.

Some viewers may have felt that Todoroki didn’t try as hard as he did against Midoriya, but Bakugou’s victory proved that he was stronger than Midoriya, who was hurt by using his own Super.

Admission in UA

Bakugou’s strength lies not only in his Quirk and his fighting ability. This guy’s mental strength is also superior to others. When he first started at UA, Bakugou showed more emotional maturity than Midoriya.

His emotions are controlled, unlike Midoriya’s, who is often mocked as a crybaby despite his authoritative attitude and excessive sense of pride.

That maturity is also reflected in his frequent use of vulgar and offensive language towards listeners.

Admission in UA

Although Bakugou’s ego suffered from seeing Midoriya’s rapid improvement compared to his own, he immediately overcame it. He refocused on his goals, surprising All Might with his commitment to the top.

That level of emotional control was not something Midoriya could match in this situation, but Bakugou did it with ease.

The Second Battle Between the “I’s”

Bakugou’s emotions became mixed after he failed the provisional licensing exam, mainly because his longtime rival Midoriya passed it.

Bakugou challenged Midoriya to a duel in the Beta Field, a training site on UA’s campus, because he was jealous that All Might recognized Midoriya and agreed to pass on his skills to the boy.

Midoriya and Bakugou decide to accept the challenge and fight each other. Midoriya’s One For All limit increased from 5% to 8% as the battle progresses.

Bakugou was momentarily surprised by his sudden acceleration, but this did not stop him from taking the lead and defeating his opponent.

Second Battle of Bakugou and Midoriya

Bakugou’s overwhelming victory over Midoriya is a testament to his superiority in combat skills.

At the dorm, he points out to Midoriya that he himself (Bakugou) cannot react fast enough when Midoriya increases his speed but Midoriya’s movements preparing to attack are too large and therefore predictable.

After all, Bakugou was stronger than Midoriya, although the boy pointed out that Midoriya was eventually able to surpass him.

Joint training session between the two classes

Students from both UA Grades 1-A and 1-B participate in a combat training exercise consisting of five separate team matches on the Gamma field (training area).

With Bakugou at the center of the attack, his team easily took down the opponent. Bakugou almost sealed victory thanks to lightning-fast reflexes, combat knowledge and the support of his teammates.

On the other hand, Midoriya was ready to imitate Bakugou’s performance until, in a team fight, he lost control of his tackle and put everyone in danger.

During the joint training between the two classes

Midoriya still has a lot to learn about his Quirk before he can engage others and compare it to his competitor, Bakugou, as evidenced by his Quirk appearing due to a trace in All. For One.

The mastery that Bakugou displayed through his Quirk gave the young man a decisive advantage over his opponent.
