My Hero Academia: Things to know about Nomu

The following article contains spoilers from season six of My Hero Academia, currently streaming on Crunchyroll.

While the Criminal Alliance can have quite a few independent members, their threat factor is greatly increased in the presence of Nomu, as pawns crafted by Dr. Garaki (aka the evil Daruma Ujiko).

As some may already know, these multi-purpose monstrous creatures are actually resurrected corpses whose genetic makeup has been enhanced to help their bodies cope with the stress of use. Add Quiz.

Nomu often have similar personality traits to their original host, so Dr. Ujiko is often quite picky when it comes to choosing his lab rats, preferring to work with villains from a background of villains. Add bloodthirsty effect.

Dr. Ujiko inspired these tamed creatures by none other than Gigantomachia himself, who may look like a quintessential Nomu but is actually very human (and alive).

Testing process

Testing processNomu is classified into four different tiers depending on their level of strength and cognitive abilities, namely:

Beginner: These guys may be at the lowest level but they can still possess plenty of Quirks and enough power to put a normal Pro Hero in trouble (The White Hosu Nomu from Vs. Hero Killer). Level: Stronger and more colorful than the Beginner Nomu, these Nomu usually have Transformation Komu along with one or two other special features (The Winged Hosu Nomu and Chainsaw Nomu). Advanced: These beasts. are on their way to the top; however, their cognitive abilities are not completely superior (The Nomu Storehouse awakens in Season Six, episode 6). Superior: These elite Nomu are capable of independent, coherent and even thought. can talk (to some extent), while Super Regeneration and various Quirk collections give them an incredible skill set to work with (Five enemies Team Endeavor faces in Jaku Hospital).

Nomu in the USJ . event

The USJ part is the first time that UA’s students officially meet the Criminal Alliance, along with one of their sandcastle subordinates, who has enormous size, incredible strength, and inhuman qualities. enough to make anyone shiver.

Nomu in the USJ . event

The giant black beast accompanied Shikgaraki and Kurogiri when they tried to capture All Might unnoticed and although the students had control of the majority of the situation, as soon as Nomu started working, this Nomu hit pop the Heroes out of their game.

Super Regeneration and Shock Absorption seemed invincible until Hero #1 found a way to overload Nomu’s system and put him in jail.

Nomu Chainsaw

This creepy guy featured in both Jungle Training Camp and Hideout Raid, and thanks to his great character design, he’s one of the most memorable Nomu to date.

While the Vanguard Action Team raced through the forest, Chainsman followed Dabi’s instructions and quickly removed Ragdoll, Momo Yaoyorozu, and Yosetsu Awase from the mission.

Nomu Chainsaw

Carrying the Wild Wild Pussycat (to be delivered to All For One), Nomu retreated with his troops but did not notice the tracking device that Creati had sneaked onto him.

Surely there would have been more undead threats lurking around for the Heroes to deal with if this Chainsaw creature hadn’t led them straight to the Nomu Factory!

The Dangerous Hood

While society is still adjusting to their new #1 Hero in the Pro Hero installment, the League of Crimes have stirred up the atmosphere a bit by sending Hood after Endeavor to create a public spectacle. speak out and better understand fear.

Being introduced to their first high-level Nomu is sure to make for quite the scene, and the city of Fukuoka has suffered heavy damage, especially after several lower-ranking Nomu suddenly spawned from the base. Hood’s body (thanks to his Storage Power).

The Dangerous Hood

Endeavor would have been defeated by this formidable force had the Hawks not “convenient” come to help, but fortunately, Hood was burned alive and abandoned by Dabi, who quickly fled the scene.

Interestingly, Hood is endowed with more Quirks than any other Nomu to date, with a total of six different superpowers at his disposal.

Johnny and Mocha

Johnny and Mocha

These low-level little Nomus are basically kept as useful pets by Dr. Ujiko, creatures that simply have a Kosie to work with, but are still an integral part of the villain’s plan.

While Johnny is in charge of transport using his Warping ability, Mocha emulates Twice’s powers with his own Quirk Double, to help the doctor by sending a puppet to perform his duties at Jaku Hospital.

Both of these “babies” are believed to be part of an inevitable escape plan. However, that was before they met an untimely end at the hands of Hero Rabbit Mirko.

Oddly enough, for a low-level Nomu with no wisdom, Mocha understood the gravity of the situation and tried to save his master without prior instruction.

Sharp woman

Of the five high-ranking Nomu kept in Dr. Ujiko’s secret lab during Season War, Woman’s fight against the Professional Heroes is arguably the most interesting, as she begins to show viewers the their intellectual understanding.

Sharp woman

This Nomu’s strategic planning abilities become apparent very quickly, as she constantly changes her fighting style to stay one step ahead of her enemies.

Woman quickly hypothesized and tested theories regarding her opponent’s limitations and even discovered that Aizawa should be the one responsible for disabling her Quirk, despite some British hero arrived at the scene at that time.

To avoid his vision, Woman uses her favorite combination of Kosie Rupture and Liquification but is eventually overpowered and consumed by Endeavor’s flames.

Kurogiri’s Class

There is a Nomu who is treated with great respect in My Hero Academia and is treated like any other member of the Crime Alliance.

This is a complete character with a relatively clear plot and a design that is close to human.

Kurogiri was present from the very beginning and remains part of an important plot revolving around Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada’s childhood friend, Oboro Shirakumo, who was “accidentally” killed and taken as a guinea pig for Tien. Doctor Ujiko.

Kurogiri's Class

Kurogiri’s Teleportation Gate ability is a key component of the Villain’s activities, he seems to be one of the few people capable of pacifying the tempered Shigaraki.

The mere fact that this benevolent, intelligent, and articulate enemy could be stacked with other Nomu seems absurd. Though he’s not overflowing with Quiz selections, Kurogiri is arguably Dr. Ujiko’s most successful immortal work to date.
