My Hero Academia: Three main types of Quirk in the work

in Rankings

In the world of My Hero Academia, Quirk or Quirk bestows superhuman abilities and powers on an individual that is genetically manifested from infancy through adulthood.

Usually, a child will manifest one or two Quirks of each parent based on compatibility.

Although there are many types of Quirks, only three stand out from the rest. The following article will provide an overview of each of the above Quiz types, how they work, and what you need to know.

Origin of Quiz

The first appearance of the Quirk is described as an infant in China emitting light from its body. This is the beginning of Superpowers in My Hero Academia.

Origin of Quiz

Then, one by one, individuals from all over the world began to develop superhuman abilities and powers that were originally known as Superpowers and are now known as Quirks or Quirks.

To roughly determine if a person has a Quirk by checking if they have an extra joint on their little finger.

People with an extra joint are known to have no joints while those with only one joint are likely to develop abnormally.

While the exact origin of the Quirk is unknown, it has been speculated that the origin of the Quirk has also emerged through the spread of an unknown virus carried by rats, but there is no concrete evidence. which proves this.

Although the appearance of the Quirk around the world is a miracle, it also has a negative side. Criminals begin to use their power to commit crimes and hurt innocent and innocent people.

This is when society decided to solve this problem by urging the frontline Heroes to fight the increasing crime rate. This is also the time when All For One becomes a symbol of solidarity in society.

He can steal Quirks from some people and give them back to those who want them. In this way, he was able to gather a considerable amount of minions.

Less than 20% of the global population belongs to the group of incompetent people while the rest possess their own Quirk.

Three main types of Quirk

Quirks are known to be unique to each individual but can be classified based on its Quiz type.

The three main types of Quirk are called Emitter, Mutant, and Transformation types.

Three main types of Quirk

The Emitter type is known to not cause any abnormalities to the Quirk user’s body, while the Mutant mutant type causes lifelong physical abnormalities to the body.

The Transformation form, on the other hand, causes short-term physical abnormalities to the body.

Transformation

This Quirk allows the user to temporarily transform and alter their body in different ways. Transformations can enhance existing features or add features to the owner’s body.

Although possessors of this Quirk are trained to control their abilities, certain conditions must be met in order to activate the transformation ability.

For example, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu (Real Steel) explains that his ability to turn skin into steel weakens if he can’t consume iron and can quickly tire if he maintains his steel state for too long.

Transformation

Once the user masters this type of Quirk, they can use it at will.

In combat, this skill’s weakness is that it can only be maximized in melee combat and its effectiveness degrades for ranged attacks. The abuse of this type of Quirk also has a negative effect on the user’s body.

Transformation type Quirks can also be classified as hybrid Quirks. As it uses mutated shape and activation traits and is considered the least common Quirk.

Some of the Superpowers of this type are darkness, scales, steel, solidification, body part doubling, and size.

Emitter

The Emitter type has been known to be the most common Quirk type. This is also a form of activation that does not change the user’s appearance but instead the properties of the things around them.

Features and attributes can be at close range such as Ochaco Uraraka’s Super Gravity Zero or as long-range as Shoto Todoroki’s Half Heat, Half Ice ability.

Emitter

There are also substances that change material properties and create organic materials.

Quirk requires a conscious effort to activate. This is why we see Pro Heroes like Shota Aizawa (Erasure) highly focused on using their Supers for long periods of time.

Emitter-type Quirks also have their own weaknesses. Although the user has control over their Super, they can hurt themselves by abusing their Quirk as they are using their own body’s power to activate it.

Some Emitter-type Quirks are also unique to the user, such as Mina Ashido’s Acid Quirk.

Other Emitter-type Quirk users can also change the properties of things around them. Some examples of Quirks of this type are explosion, fire, ice, sugar, creation, electricity, etc.

Mutant

Last but not least is the mutation type. This Quirk causes permanent abnormalities to the user, most of the time directly related to their abilities and strength.

This type of Quirk allows them to perform their Superpowers more quickly and efficiently without the effects of overuse due to their form.

Usually, mutant Quirks have been passed down through generations. An example of this mutant Quirk is Fumikage Tokoyami and his bird-like head.

Mutant

Although not considered a weakness, mutant Quirks cannot be turned off whenever the user wishes and are usually something the possessor must live with for the rest of their lives.

An example of this is Mashirao Ojiro with his strong and sturdy tail Quirk, which makes it difficult for him to sit or lie down properly.

Mutant-type Quirks are also known as “heteromorphic” and are the most discriminated against, even by other Quirk users because some of them have a terrifying appearance.

One of the biggest advantages of mutant-type Quirks is that they can’t be undone or nullified, giving the user of this Quirk a unique unique advantage in any situation.
