Described as “reminiscent of the legendary Pokémon Terapagos”, the name and true nature of this new Pokémon remains a mystery. Although it may not be particularly big and strong, it can create a protective shield by crystallizing energy in its body. When it feels its life is in danger, it can also retract its head, limbs, and tail into its shell to assume an inactive state that makes it look like a jewel.
The recent premiere of “Pokémon Horizons: The Series” in Japan provided a glimpse at the newly discovered Pokémon. In the animated series, Riko, one of the main characters, carries a mysterious pendant that can transform into this Pokémon. The Pokémon will then return immediately after it protects Riko from danger.
