Kodoani.com – Netflix is streaming an anime adaptation of the manga Monster by Naoki Urasawa. Netflix previously added the first 30 episodes, but now it’s streaming all 74 episodes. The anime is airing in Japanese and has a French dub. The English dub does not air on the service.

Masayuki Kojima is directing the anime adaptation at Madhouse Studios. Tatsuhiko Urahata (Cardfight!! Vanguard, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere) is handling the series’ layout. Yūji Ikeda (Fushigi Yugi, Master Keaton) is directing the art and Kitaro Kousaka (Master Keaton, Whisper of the Heart) is designing the characters. Kuniaki Haishima (Macross Zero, Neo Ranga) is composing the music.
The anime aired in 2004-2005.
The manga ran in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Original magazine from December 1994 to December 2001. Viz Media published all 18 volumes of the manga in English. The manga has since inspired two other novels titled Other Monsters written and illustrated by Urasawa, presenting the Beast from the perspective of an investigative journalist.
