Kodoani.com – The main website for the anime adaptation of the light novel My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom ( Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijō ni Tensei Shiteshimatta… ) revealed on Saturday that the anime series will open in Japan on December 8. The website also posted a trailer.
Light novel author Satoru Yamaguchi will write the original story for the film. Returning staff members include director Keisuke Inoue, screenwriters Megumi Shimizu and Megumu Sasano, character designer Miwa Oshima, and animation studio SILVER LINK.
While Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijō ni Tensei Shiteshimatta… ~Haran o Yobu Kaizoku~ (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! The Pirate Known as “Trouble”) has replaced Tatsuhisa Suzuki voiced Alan Stuart as Yuki Ito in the game’s bonus anime CD, Suzuki will return to voice Alan in the upcoming film.
The first season of the anime premiered in April 2020. The second season, titled My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! X, to be released in July 2021.

Yamaguchi started the novel series on Shōsetsuka ni Narō! in July 2014, and Ichijinsha began publishing the novel with illustrations by Nami Hidaka in August 2015. Hidaka also provided art for the ongoing manga, which began in Comic Zero Sum’s magazine. Ichijinsha in August 2017.
