Manga New Game! Shōtarō Tokunō’s manga has officially ended with Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Charat magazine on Friday. Fans can celebrate the occasion with an exhibition at Tokyo’s Museum of Magical Art (MoFA) from September 23 to October 31. A virtual exhibition will also be held from September 2. October to November 7
The museum will display black and white and color pages from the serialized series, as well as illustrations from the series’ collaboration with the Eizan Electric Railway.
The exhibition will also start selling the Next Game edition!! artbook on September 27. Buyers will receive a free book cover depicting the original illustration used for the exhibition. Other merchandise will also be available for purchase.
Tickets will go on sale through LAWSON convenience stores starting September 9. Details of the virtual exhibit will be announced on the museum’s website. Exhibits will be subject to COVID-19 safety regulations.
Tokunō launched the manga in Houbunsha with Manga Time Kirara Charat in 2013. Seven Seas licensed the manga. The series inspired two television anime seasons.
