Kodoani.com – Aniplex has officially announced a new character promotional video for the mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Magic Room on Monday. Character introduction video Sayaka Mikivoiced by Different Kitamuraproviding an interesting look at her role in the game.
Release Date and Platform
The game is expected to be released this year and will be available on PC through Steamexpanding the audience beyond mobile platforms.
Development Team
The game is developed by Basketball (also developer of Assault Lily: Last Bullet and SINoALICE) and f4 samurai (developed Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories, and Ange Vierge -Re:Link-). Pokelabo will handle game management, while Aniplex will be responsible for planning and distribution.
Game History
The previous version, Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, is out for devices iOS and Android in Japan in August 2017, free to play with optional in-game purchases. The English version was released at USA and Canada in June 2019 but ended service in September 2020.
The game's Japanese translation also ended service on PC on July 1 and on iOS and Android on July 3.
Anime Adaptation
In addition to the game, an anime adaptation of the game premiered in January 2020. The second season of the anime aired in July 2021, and the third and final season premiered in April 2022.
