Nintendo Wii U and advises players to be wary because these services may pose potential security risks. This warning comes after Nintendo ended the online functions of the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in April 2024, and closed the eShop of both platforms in March 2024.
Wii U, launched in 2012, did not achieve the same commercial success as other Nintendo systems. In particular, Wii U's sales are completely inferior to its successor, the Nintendo Switch.
