“Furaani” is a new attempt by broadcaster NTV to lure audiences into their Friday night time slot with anime series. The logo of “Friday Anime Night” has a modern design and is yellow. The Japanese kanji used for “Friday,” carries the meaning of yellow.

“Friday Anime Night” will air at 11 p.m. on Friday nights after the popular and long-running series “Friday Roadshow” by NTV, a television slot that has featured many films from Studio Ghibli’s catalog and works like Evangelion.
