The epilogue will appear in the 16-volume bunko reissue of the manga starting June 16
Kodoani.com – The official Twitter account of Shueisha’s Comic Bunko label announced on Wednesday that the manga Nisekoi – False Love Naoshi Komi’s will be republished in a newer bunko postpaid format, including a new extra epilogue set 10 years after the main story.
The new bunko reissue will have 16 volumes, 14 of which will collect the main manga and the last two will collect the manga’s novels. Each episode will have a new cover art. The first two bunko episodes will release on June 16, with new episodes on the 18th of each month thereafter.
Komi drew the main manga “Nisekoi” in Jump Next! in early 2011, and turned it into a manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump in November of the same year. The manga ended in August 2016. Shueisha published the manga’s 25th and final volume in October 2016.
The series has adapted for two anime seasons. The anime’s first season premiered in Japan in January 2014 with 20 episodes. A 12-episode second season premiered in Japan in April 2015. The manga also inspired a live action series in December 2018.
