The fact that Esports players are owed bonuses has reached hundreds of millions of dong, helplessly they have to go online to “beg for help” for justice.

Unpaid bonuses, a series of Esports players go online to ‘beg for help’
According to a source from Esports.gg, many VALORANT players have now taken to Twitter to accuse NSG of not paying them bonuses on time. Specifically, on January 3, Timothy “frostyZK” Ly was the one who fired the first shot. The star of the TSM FTX staff wrote: “Have any players received a $50,000 post-tournament bonus from NSG?”.
It is known that the tournament that frostlyZK refers to is the Nerd Street Summer Championship Finals 2022 held in August last year. FrostyZK’s TSM FTX finished second and pocketed 10,000 USD (about 240 million VND). Up to now, they have not received this bonus amount yet.
FrostyZK’s post attracted a lot of attention from the community. Some players on the staff of Ghost Gaming core, Oxygen Esports, Shopify Rebels and Teal Seam Vapor complained that they were in the same situation. There are also a few who claim that they have already been paid the bonus.

Faced with the increasingly stressful situation, NSG CEO John Fazio posted on a forum to explain that: “We are working hard to deliver the bonuses to you as soon as possible. In the next week, all will be paid. If you have any questions, please contact NSG directly.”
Esports.gg also added that the reason NSG fell into the current situation came from the trouble of accepting advertising money with 3rd parties. It is known that many of the main sponsors of the Nerd Street tournament that year. Summer Championship Finals 2022 to date has not been fully paid to NSG. This is a manifestation of the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic.
