Chapter 1106 begins full of intrigue – a mysterious ship is hurtling towards Egghead Island, breaking the Navy blockade. We then see Luffy transform into Gear 5 form, escaping the Marines on his trail.
Meanwhile, Bonney’s group falls from the sky and is saved by Vegapunk’s quick thinking. He orders Pacifista Atlas to consider Bonney as the authority on the Gorosei! This turns Atlas against the Marines, and Saint Saturn stabs Vegapunk for treason.
Just as Kizaru was about to finish off Bonney, Luffy rushed in with his Gear 5 punch to save her. His rubber powers even help them land safely. Then we get the big reveal – when Bonney saw Luffy posing in Gear 5 like her father did, Vegapunk confirmed Luffy was Nika. This means Bonney can harness the same abilities as Nika herself!
This chapter ends with Dorry, Brogy and the Giant Warriors arriving, pledging to consider Luffy the “Sun God”. There will definitely be a lot of lore revealed and table arrangements to be made! The stage is set for Vegapunk to shed more light on Luffy’s Devil Fruit and mythical status. Bonney also has an important role. And I can’t wait to see what happens when the mysterious ship lands!

Potentially, we’ll get a quick flashback that shows them catching on to Luffy’s reappearance and realizing that the person hunting him is the legendary Sun God Nika. Their old little friend is making waves again that will inspire them to support!
The next chapter also needs to follow Bonney’s reaction to Vegapunk, confirming that Luffy is actually Nika. We’ll see Bonney ready to take down Saint Saturn, aided by his new Pacifista friends Atlas and Co. She needs to protect her father and the doctor if she wants to learn more about her past and her mysterious powers.
