As one of the most anticipated storylines of the One Piece manga, the Elbaf arc has a lot to convey. So far, this arc has sprinkled some intriguing mysteries and introduced its new main characters.
In the previous chapter, the manga delved deeper into the legend of the Sun God Nika and Loki's past atrocities. It also alludes to Luffy's next plan and reveals the identity of an intruder on Elbaf Island. The woman's name was Gunko, a member of the Holy Knights.
Now, in One Piece chapter 1137, the identity of the remaining mysterious man whose appearance is extremely similar to Shanks will be revealed.
Chapter 1137 is titled 'Shamrock Appears'. The cover teases a continuation of Yamato's journey in Wano, revealing that the Oni group has infiltrated Who's Who's base.
The chapter then focuses on Luffy's group along with Zoro, Nami and Road arriving at an abandoned castle. This place is full of skeletons of giant soldiers who died the night Loki took King Harald's life. Only Loki and Jarul survived that incident.
The Straw Hat trio noticed some giants with horns. Road explains that it is because some giants have the blood of ancient giants. King Harald also had horns, but he broke them because he hated violence.
Road also mentions that Loki and Hajruddin have different fathers. Hajruddin's mother could not become queen of Elbaph. A flashback shows that Road and Hajruddin were together as children.
Back in the Hellish Yard, Gunko attacked Loki and his monsters with the power of her Arrow Arrow no Mi. However, Loki continued to refuse the offer to join the Holy Knights and become a Celestial Dragon.
The mysterious man is finally revealed. He is Saint Figarland Shamrock, leader of the Holy Knights and son of Garling. Shamrock looks exactly like Shanks, except with longer hair and no scar on his face.
One Piece chapter 1137 finally disproves the theory that Shanks is the mysterious man.
At the same time, it also disproves theories about Shanks being related to Garling and the World Government.
The chapter ends with Shamrock and Gunko revealing that their mission is to bring Elbaf under World Government control by force.
