Kodoani.com – Shueisha has revealed through a new listing that the One Piece franchise will be supplemented with a new novel titled ” ONE PIECE novel HEROINES [Colorful]” on March 4. Jun Esaka will be writing the novel, while Sayaka Suwa will be the illustrator.
The novel will focus on the characters Hancock, Tashigi, Reiju, Uta, Nami and Robin.
“Episode: Hancock” will tell about the return of one of Hancock’s subordinates after a long time missing at sea. When she was about to share her love story on the high seas, a storm suddenly appeared.
“Episode: Tashigi” will focus on the character passing on his swordsmanship skills to a young girl.
“Episode: Reiju” will be a cooking story, depicting Reiju and his brothers cooking a meal by themselves without the help of the ship’s chef.
“Episode: Uta” will follow the character as she sings a new song, a memory of Shanks and the Red Haired Pirates.
“Bonus: Nami & Robin” will delve into how these two girls take care of themselves during their journey at sea, with the help of Chopper and Brook.
This novel series about female protagonists was first published in 2021, with the story revolving around Nami.
Shueisha’s One Piece magazine, which publishes Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga, previously published the novel One Piece: Ace’s Story (novel One Piece A) by Shō Hinata. Hinata introduced the novel through multiple issues of One Piece Magazine since September 2017. Shueisha then published two volumes compiling the story in April and June 2018.
