Yusuke Murata, the official artist behind the One-Punch Man manga adaptation, has confirmed that neither he nor his newly established anime studio will be involved in the production of One-Punch Man Season 3.
On social networking platform X (formerly Twitter), Murata personally delivered disappointing news to the One-Punch Man fan community. “By the way, I am not participating in the third season of the One Punch Man anime,” Murata said simply. “The animation production is my own project.” The latter comment refers to the anime studio he opened in January. Murata joins the ranks of Chainsaw Man Season 1 director Ryu Nakayama, who left MAPPA to found his own studio.
