Owlcat Games has announced that Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous will launch on consoles this September, and its third DLC expansion is coming in August. Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is based on the first version of the game Pathfinder. The story takes the player to the city of Kenabres, on the day it falls into the hands of an army of demons. Players and allies will be granted Mythic powers, setting them apart from standard adventurers. When the demons are driven out of Kenabres, the player forms a fifth crusade, in an attempt to eliminate the demons from the area. Like Pathfinder: Kingmaker, players are expected to explore dungeons, but they are also the leader of an army and must manage the cities under their care, to ensure victory over demons evil.
The original Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous console releases were delayed earlier in the year. Owlcat Games has confirmed that Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on September 29, with both games available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S via backward compatibility. . The Treasure of the Midnight Isles is similar to the Beneath the Stolen Lands DLC for Pathfinder: Kingmaker. This is a rogue-like mode that allows players to build a new party (including Mythic Paths), or use their party from the main campaign, to explore a vast archipelago full of treasures. If the party dies, their progress will aid the player in future plays. The Treasure of the Midnight Isles will also introduce new magical items and monsters into the game.
Pathfinder fans on consoles had to wait another year for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous, but it would be worth it if the performance issues from the PC version were all fixed.
