Pikachu is not only Ash’s best friend and closest companion, but also one of his strongest Pokémon. Pikachu’s journey is not smooth and he goes through many changes throughout the anime. Starting in Black & White, he somewhat regressed to a weaker state without much explanation. However, in the most recent seasons, Pikachu has once again become an impressive and formidable Pokémon.
However, its power still has limitations, and Pikachu’s refusal to evolve into Raichu is said to have hindered its fighting abilities. Arguably Ash’s most famous Pokémon besides Pikachu, Charizard’s journey with his trainer is one of the oldest. As Charizard, the Pokémon initially refuses to obey Ash and sometimes even actively challenges him. 5 Sinnoh: Hell
Like Charmander, Chimchar was abandoned by its former trainer, Paul. Hurt yet inspired, it joins Ash on a journey that will ultimately transform him into his trainer’s strongest Sinnoh Pokémon. Chimchar is one of the most expressive Pokémon in the anime and cried more than once during his early days with Ash. As Infernape, and whenever it uses Blaze, it becomes frantic and out of control. Ash’s Unova team isn’t the most memorable. Although he captured all the starters, only one evolved, but it never reached its final form. It evolved into Pignite during the battle against its former master, Seamus, as a result of which its self-esteem improved, even becoming somewhat vain. Dracovish is a very strange Pokémon. Of course, it’s a combination of two errant fossils but its personality is as strange as its appearance. Like James’s Victreebel, Dracovish also likes to bite Ash’s head as a sign of affection. Despite its caring and kind nature, Dracovish is a very resilient and strong Pokémon. It defeated Iris’s powerful Dragonite, cementing Ash’s position as the Galarian trump card.
