The LCK teams eagerly showed off the gifts given to them by GEN after becoming the champions of the LCK Spring 2023, as a way to “release” the championship for the remaining teams.
The LCK has a pretty cute custom of the Champions that after the final day, the winning team will prepare a small gift package to send to the rest of the teams in the tournament. That gift can be food, souvenirs or any item with the imprint of the champion team. This is both a way of gratitude, and it’s like “releasing” the championship for the remaining teams so that their next season will be better.

GEN also did not ignore this practice when thoughtfully preparing 9 gift packages for the remaining 9 teams of the LCK Spring 2023. Although the gift package is not large, it is very pretty with a chiffon scarf wrapped in Korean style. Inside are boxes of traditional sticky rice cakes of all colors. One box is a big cake with GEN’s 2 G logo, the other box is 9 small cakes with the logos of the remaining 9 teams, the round box is multicolored rice cakes and a square cake in the shape of a tiger – spirit. GEN’s object and the remaining small box are colorful rice cakes.
The teams that uploaded photos thanking the Champion for this gift include HLE, DRX, BRO, KDF, NS. The remaining 4 teams have not posted yet, but they have certainly received this beautiful gift.

GEN as the 2023 LCK Spring Champion will start at MSI 2023 from the group stage and will move to London on May 7-8 according to information from captain Peanut. MSI 2023 will be an interesting tournament when GEN will reunite with his former teammate Ruler, who plays for JDG.
