Both representatives of PUBG Vietnam, CES and TE, have officially entered the Grand Finals PGC 2022. This is the first time that Vietnam has 2 teams participating in the final.
The past 2 weeks have been an extremely stressful time for PUBG Vietnam at PGC 2022. Up to now, the Grand Finals round with 16 best teams has been determined. The good news for PUBG Vietnam is that we have 2 representatives participating in this tournament, The Expendables and Cerberus Esports, surpassing even big names like PeRo, the defending champion of PGC 2021 and PCS 7 Asia – NH Esports, the defending champion of 4 consecutive PCS NA seasons Sonisq…
Surely this is not a lucky result when the two teams from Vietnam, TE and CES, showed an impressive face at PGC 2022. If TE, captain Leviz and his teammates were already a team. The team opened with the first top 1 for PUBG Vietnam with the situation of finishing 777, a highlight transfer spray that completely cleared the BBL lineup. Although they could not continue in the winning bracket when there were many strong teams in Group B, TE played extremely well in the losing brackets 1 and 2.
In the 1st loss bracket, TE got off to a good start when the team competed profusely and proactively and soon won the ticket to continue. In the end, the Vietnamese team reached 78 points and ranked 2nd before the extremely explosive competition in the 2nd losing bracket right after. Ended the first day of the losing bracket 2 in the top position with 55 points when rounding. However, TE gradually ran out of breath on day two and it was thanks to Leviz’s brilliance in the final map that TE could secure a place in the Grand Finals with 4th place.
Meanwhile, CES entered the game better with matches that brought many points along with the top 1 position. The team even competed for the top 1 position of Group A in rounds 12, 13 but finished the group stage with the first position. Expected fourth place. After that, CES continued to keep up the momentum, the team had the first day of competition in the winning bracket when it was always in the top 4.5 teams with the highest scores. But on day 2 it was really a nightmare as the team was always caught oddly in moving situations and was unfortunately eliminated at 9th place, losing to YAHO in the sub-status.
After many efforts, psychological problems still cause CES to collapse at the door of heaven. Ending with a position outside the top 10 but without having to wait too long, CES destroyed the opponents in the first match of the Ultimate Survival round on November 14. Thereby officially being the 13th team along with TE to participate in the Grand Finals of PGC 2022.
After 2 weeks of competition, the 2 teams will have 2 days of rest before returning with 4 days of competition in the Finals of PGC 2022 from November 17-20.
