Kodoani.com – Aniplex has officially revealed exciting information about Rakuen Tsuihō -Expelled from Paradise- Kokoro no Resonance (Heart’s Resonance)the sequel to the once-popular animated film Expelled from Paradise (2014). The announcement comes with a new key image, teaser video, and confirmation of a 2026 launch date.
Notably, the project was initially introduced as Rakuen Tsuihō: Liberated from Paradise. However, in the latest announcement, the title has been changed to Rakuen Tsuihō -Expelled from Paradise- Kokoro no Resonance or Rakuen Tsuihō: Kokoro no Resonance.
The classy production team is back
The new film will reunite the excellent crew from the first part, including:

The success of Expelled from Paradise
First released in 13 Japanese theaters in November 2014, the film sold more than 110,000 tickets. The Blu-ray and DVD versions of the film were also very popular, with strong sales more than 70,000 copies in Japan.
Not only that, Expelled from Paradise also received an award Best animated film of the year in 24th Japan Film Critics Awards in May 2015.
In the international market, Aniplex of America released the film in 15 theaters in the United States in December 2014, before releasing it on Blu-ray in North, Central, and South America in mid-2015.
10th Anniversary: 4K version re-released
On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, Expelled from Paradise returned to theaters in Japan on November 15, 2024, with a 4K resolution version titled Expelled from Paradise -Impelled by 10th Anniversary-. This is a special opportunity for fans to relive the memorable journey of the film.
