Ranger Reject Chapter 81: Release Date & Spoiler

Sentai Daishikkaku is the Japanese name for Ranger Reject. This series has no typical good and evil plot; when you start reading it you will realize that it is much more complicated and confusing than a normal power series series.

In Ranger Reject, we have the Dragon Guardians or Power Rangers of the series battling invaders who are supposed to be bad guys. What we later learn is that the Guardians are evil and are taking advantage of the invaders for their benefit.

For instance, the Dragon keepers force invaders to attack so they can defeat them for fame and their goods can earn them more money. You might think that there is nothing new in the series except for the fact that the stereotypical roles of heroes and villains are interchangeable.

Fortunately, that’s not the case. As you continue through the series, you will learn that all the characters have distinct motives and reasons with different ideals; they don’t just play pretend heroes while being really evil.

The same goes for invaders. It can feel like they are the oppressed, which may be true in a way but choosing sides based on this will be difficult because if you look beyond this aspect, the invaders are still are quite evil creatures.

Ranger Reject Chapter 80: Summary

Chapter 80 is called ‘Monster Zoo’. This chapter begins with the live broadcast moderator telling the world that the Invaders are innocent. He also mentioned that the so-called ‘Sunday Battle’ hero was just a facade created by the keepers.

We also saw some people from the Invaders’ Rights Association trying to interview a person for his thoughts on a recent video. That person is later revealed to be a retired member of the Green Battalion – Keisuke Souma.

We were then transferred to the location of the Green Battalion. They are informed of a monster and told to leave the mission site immediately. Their destination for the mission is the Milky Way Downtown Wildlife Park.

Upon arrival at the mission site, the green battalion realized that Yamato Beni Second Class of the Red Battalion was also present at the scene. Yamato briefed them on the incidents that happened in the park. All the animals in the zoo are eaten and everything is destroyed.

A zoo employee told the keepers that a large white creature appeared out of nowhere and started attacking people. Since the wildlife park is very large, the Keepers decided to split up and search for the monsters.

Suddenly, we get to see a battlefield scene where Second Class Yamato Beni is fighting the Monster, and he’s covered in blood. Even though he was outnumbered by the monsters, he seemed to be enjoying the battle.

We went back to Sakurama and Shion. The Red Battalion considers Sakurama or Usukubo to be traitors. Shion is tasked with tracking both of them, and even after weeks, he still hasn’t been able to get any leads.

Shion confronts Sakurama directly about who the traitor is, and without hesitation, Sakurama states that Usukubo is the one who is betraying them.

Ranger Reject is a weekly manga with new issues every Thursday. However, since Chapter 78, the manga issues have been delayed by two weeks and this is the same case for Ranger Reject Chap 81.
