The reincarnation of the strongest Exorcist in the second episode of Another World establishes power, enemies, and allies as Seika leaves home.

The second volume of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World was released on January 14, 2023 via Crunchyroll. The episode continues where it left off in the first place; Seika Lamprogue has just defeated an elderly newt monster that attacked his home. Family members and servants were surprised to see Seika’s strength, as he did not have any magical powers.
After revealing her true potential, Seika must face the reactions of those around her. Viewers discover that Seika’s father witnesses the knockdown of the larger newt. Seika is offered a sumptuous feast and the opportunity to claim a reward for her actions.
What does Seika wish?
After Seika’s father offers him a chance to receive a reward of his choice, Seika requests to attend Londonea Royal Academy of Magic. However, there is a problem. The middle child, Gly, attended. Viewers learn that only a Lamprogue child can attend the academy due to tradition. Even so, Seika’s father decided that Seika could attend instead of Gly. In a fit of rage, Gly demanded a duel to decide who would enter the academy.
Gly’s reaction to Seika’s request along with his actions in the past further make Gly one of the villains of the series. Another reason that could make Gly an even worse enemy of Seika is their father’s decision to enroll Gly in the army. Gly’s aggressive nature, excellent swordsmanship, and choice of action with his friends led their father to make this choice. These traits were further demonstrated when Gly attacked Seika in the middle of the night. He couldn’t exercise his patience and wait until the next day to duel. He also refutes his father’s rules for using lower level magic but is defeated by Seika within minutes.
Seika is on her way to the Academy
Seika’s strength led him and his servant, Yifa, to win the chance to enter the Londonea Royal Magic Academy. However, both must pass a test to do so. All students who wanted to enter were lined up outside the school to place their hands on a crystal ball, which would determine which elements they had magical abilities for. It’s no surprise that Yifa has the power to fire, but she also knows that she has wind abilities like Pawn. In the first episode, it was established that Seika’s body does not radiate any magical energy, this energy is aided when he places his hand on the ball and it does not glow. Many enemies were made for Seika as many of the students who witnessed this believed that he would surpass the status alone. Another student, Amyu, appears and receives a white glowing ball, determining that she has abilities in all four elements, which is rare. Seika realizes that Amyu is someone from her past. Viewers believe she could be an enemy from her reaction to Seika, but the ending scene seems to prove otherwise, as Seika, Yifa and Amyu are seen spending time together.
The second episode of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World introduced more about the world in which Seika lives and the powers he and the others possess. Gly and the students of the Royal Magic Academy Londonea seem to see themselves as villains in Seika’s journey, but Seika still has allies in Yifa, his ayakashi, and Amyu. Fans of the series will likely see Seika’s experience with the entrance exams as well as interactions with his new colleagues in next week’s episode.
