miHoYo released sensitive images on livestream
Yesterday evening (January 24), miHoYo premiered the livestream of the Special Program version 5.4 of the game Genshin Impact. This is a common activity of the game, every time preparing to move to a new version. In this live session, miHoYo will introduce important information about characters, events, rewards… to players.
I thought this would be a normal live session like every other time, but surprisingly, miHoYo was live again, showing a sensitive image that left viewers stunned. Specifically, at 23 minutes of the premiere, NPH introduced the new Public Bath area with the image of the Traveler (male version of the main character), bathing with many other female characters.
Very quickly, this image caused many Genshin Impact fans to argue fiercely. The vast majority were shocked, not daring to believe that miHoYo would show such a sensitive product on the official livestream.
Heated debate about miHoYo's boldness
Many comments expressed frustration, saying that miHoYo is “fan-serving” too much. Letting men and women “bathe together” is extremely unreasonable, offensive and has a negative impact on viewers, especially young gamers.
However, there is also the opinion that “bathing together” is common in Japanese culture. At public bathhouses in this country, it is normal to soak in hot water with others. Each opinion is partly correct, causing public opinion to split into two camps, to the point that to this day, this issue is still controversial and shows no signs of cooling down.
