Kodoani.com – A website launched on Thursday to announce the anime adaptation of the manga “Nina the Starry Bride” (Hoshifuru Ōkoku no Nina) by Rikachi. The website revealed an anime promotional video, teaser images, and the main cast of the anime series.

Manga creator Rikachi also drew an illustration to celebrate the announcement.
Kodansha USA published the manga digitally and will release the second compiled book volume on December 26. Kodansha USA describes the story as follows:
“Nina started out living a difficult life, stealing to survive and was eventually sold into slavery by her own brother. But, to her surprise, her captor, Prince Azure, ordered that She will live the life of a princess… specifically that of the recently deceased priestess-princess, Alisha. Rikachi launched the manga in Kodansha’s Be Love magazine in October 2019. Kodansha published the manga’s 11th compiled book volume on August 10, and the 12th compiled book volume on December 13. Best Shōjo Manga at the 46th Annual Manga Awards.
