Blitzcrank Magic Planet is being denounced by the League of Legends community as a “pay to win” skin when the animation effect of this skin is too “brain hacking”.
In the history of League of Legends, there are many costumes labeled “pay to win”. These skins will often come with some special effects that can help players use their champions more effectively, or have a bad impact on opponents. There are famous skins that are “pay to win” like Jhin Crazy God of Creation, or Lucian Cowboy. Particularly for the Cowboy Lucian, this skin is considered a “pay to win” just because it creates a feeling of “coolness”, excitement for players.

Recently, the community has discovered another skin that can also be considered “pay to win”. Accordingly, it is the Blitzcrank Magic Planet skin – the skin line that was just released in early 2021. Specifically, on Reddit, a clip has been posted about the animation effects of Blitzcrank Magic Planet can ” hack the opponent’s brain. Because, this skin has the effect of reaching out the left hand exactly like using the Rocket Hand. Only, there were no hands reaching out. Blitzcrank then pulls with his right hand as usual.
Notably, when enemies witness Blitzcrank’s animation, they lose Flash or Stopwatch. Only, not all opinions agree that Blitzcrank Magic Planet can be a “pay to win” skin. These comments suggest that, perhaps, there is a staging and sometimes, the default skin of Blitzcrank can do the same thing. However, there are also some concurring arguments. Because when seeing Blitzcrank’s hand swing up, the reaction of most gamers will be to find a way to dodge immediately.

I can see it working on every skin
It’s unclear whether Blitzcrank Magic Planet is really a “pay to win” skin, but perhaps, if there really is one more skin like this, Riot will have to intervene soon before there are any cases. This happens in the professional League of Legends arena.
