Kodoani.com – Sting Entertainment has just announced that they will be releasing an HD remastered version of the RPG Riviera: The Promised Land (Riviera: Yakusoku No Chi Riviera) in Japan on February 29. The game will also be available for PC via Steam, iOS and Android. The remaster will bring new content, high-resolution images, fast-forward options, auto-save, and other additional features.
The story revolves around Grim Angel Ein and his team as they set out on a journey to save the floating island Riviera from destruction.
The game originally launched for the WonderSwan Color in July 2002. It later received various console versions and a Western release from Atlus and 505 Games on the Game Boy Advance and PlayStation Portable.
Riviera: The Promised Land is the first game in the series “Dept. Heaven” by Sting, including other games such as Yggdra Union: We’ll Never Fight Alone, Knights in the Nightmare, and Gungnir: Inferno of the Demon Lance and the War of Heroes.
