The ending song for season 2 of the 6th season will be out on January 7th
Kodoani.com – The latest episode of the My Hero Academia anime revealed on Saturday that three-member rock band Six Lounge will be performing the new ending song “Kita Kaze” (North Wind) for the anime’s sixth season My Hero Academia. The new song will debut in the show’s second season (fifth quarter) on January 7. TOHO is broadcasting the clip for the video.
The anime’s sixth season premiered on October 1. This season will air in two consecutive waves with a total of 25 episodes.
The new season so far has adapted the “Mystic Liberation War” part of Kōhei Horikoshi’s original manga, which is about an all-out war between heroes and villains. SUPER BEAVER performed the current opening theme song “Hitamuki” and Kiro Akiyama performed the current ending theme song “SKETCH”.
The first 13-episode season of the anime premiered in April 2016. The 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017 and the third season premiered in April 2018 and spanned 25 episodes. The fourth season premiered in Japan in October 2019 and aired for 25 episodes. A two-episode original anime video streamed in Japan in August 2020. The show’s fifth season premiered in Japan in March 2021 and aired for 25 episodes.
Horikoshi launched the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014.
