After being remade by Riot Games, Udyr is expected to be much more “smooth” in League of Legends with a series of extremely annoying “trigger” moves.
Recently, Riot Games’ Udyr remake trailer has made the League of Legends community talk about this champion. Many gamers are curious about how the Spirit Traveler will be in the meta after being remade.
And while Riot Games has not yet announced the details of Udyr’s skill set, foreign YouTubers like Trick2G or Professor Akali have revealed all of this champion’s skills.
Udyr Rework Gameplay + Abilities Reveal
Udyr’s skill set details after rework:
Passive Spirit Traveler
Awakened Spirit: Instead of having the traditional ultimate, Udyr has 4 basic skills that can be switched between martial arts. Udyr can reactivate Martial Position on cooldown to “Awaken” it and renew its bonus effects (Awaken has 40 second cooldown).
Monk Training: After using a skill, Udyr’s next 2 attacks over the next 4 seconds gain 30% attack speed and restore 5% of Awakening cooldown per hit.
Udyr’s new passive.
Q: Wilding Claw (roughly translated: Wild Claw)
Wilding Stance: Udyr gains 25% attack speed for 4 seconds. This Martial Artist’s next 2 attacks on the target deal 3.2% bonus physical damage based on maximum health.
Awakened: Gain 34% attack speed. During this time, Udyr’s next 2 attacks will summon lightning 6 times, each dealing up to 10.6% max health magic damage to isolated targets.
The new Q skill gives Udyr a lot of attack speed.
W: Iron Mantle (roughly translated: Iron Skinned Body)
Mantle Stance: Udyr gains 63 shields for 4 seconds, Udyr’s next 2 attacks in this Martial Arts gain 10% lifesteal and heal for 12 each hit.
Awakened: Shield increases by 178 and Udyr heals for 89 (health) over 4 seconds. During this time, he gains twice the lifesteal and healing of The Vo.
Udyr’s “iron skin” will have a lot of shields from the W skill.
E: Blazing Stampede (roughly translated: Blazing Temperament)
Stampede Stance: Udyr gains 30% movement speed that decays over 4 seconds. Furthermore, his basic attack in this Martial Position is to dash to enemies and stun them for 0.75 seconds (effect has a 6 second cooldown per target).
Awakened: Immune to crowding and disabling effects, and gain 32% bonus movement speed for 1.5 seconds.
The Spirit Traveler will have an extremely annoying “spinner” ability thanks to his movement speed and immunity to control from E.
R: Wingborne Storm (roughly translated: Wings of the Storm)
Storm Stance: Udyr creates a storm of ice around himself for 4 seconds dealing 20 magic damage to enemies inside the storm and slowing them by 15%. Udyr’s next 2 attacks in this Martial Position deal 14 magic damage to enemies inside the storm.
Awakening: Releases storms, causing them to sweep across nearby enemies. Deals 9.4% bonus magic damage based on maximum health for the remaining duration of the skill (the storm will approach the nearest target hit by Udyr).
With this new skill set, Spirit Traveler promises to break into the League of Legends meta in the near future, because after being reworked, this card possesses a series of “heavy” skills such as dealing damage by %. maximum health, immunity to control, stun “straight face”, even “buffalo” like a gladiator but has extremely strong isolation damage like an assassin.
Note: Numbers like damage, heal, shield, etc. can be changed at launch on the PBE test server.
