Kodoani.com – Screenwriter Jukki Hanada, music video production team Hurray!, and 100Studio have announced a new anime movie titled “A Few Moments of Cheers” (Sūfunkan no Yell o) on Wednesday. The film is expected to open in Japan in early summer.
The film’s story begins when a high school student, making music videos, meets a teacher who has given up music. Asaya Kanata, an amateur music writer, encounters teacher and musician Yu Orie busking on the street and decides to make a music video about her music.

Screenwriter Jukki Hanada is responsible for writing the script and story for the film. Hanada has made many contributions to the anime genre involving musicians, including Sound! Kyoto Animation’s Euphonium, the Love Live! series, and Girls Band Cry, among others.
Music video creation trio Hurray! is collaborating with 100Studio to produce this anime. Team Hurray! famous for creating music videos for the band Yorushika. The group’s POPREQ will direct the film, with Ohajiki as assistant director and Magotsuki as character designer. Music producer Vocaloid Vivi, who composed the songs, will also contribute to the film’s music.
The film will be distributed by Bandai Namco Filmworks.
