Kodoani.com – Sega has revealed a new game in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise titled Sonic Superstars during the Summer Game Fest stream on Thursday. The game will launch this fall for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
Sonic and friends’ journey begins on the beautiful North Star Islands, a mystical place that offers never-before-seen environments, as well as a mysterious story waiting to unfold. Giant creatures, exciting adventures and evil plans from Dr. Eggman await Sonic and his friends, who can now receive brand new abilities called is the Emerald Power when the Chaos Emerald is collected.
The game resembles the classic 2D platformers in the series and features Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose as playable characters. The game has both single player and coop modes for up to four players.
Sonic Frontiers, Sega’s new game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, is out for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC via Steam in November 2022.
