Kodoani.com – Official website of the manga adaptation Shadows House of So-ma-to posted the first trailer for the series’ second season on Sunday. Video hints about the new character The Robed Nobleman.
The second part will premiere in July, with the participation of the previous staff.
Returning members include:

The writers noted that in the first season (when they supervised the script) it was stated that there would only be one show (a quarter of a year) for the anime. They also added that a new season means they will have to oversee the script again while continuing to publish the manga, but they vowed to do their best.
The first season premiered in April 2021. Funimation streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and it also streamed the English dub. The company describes the story:
Atop a high cliff is a mansion known as Shadows House, inhabited by a faceless clan that pretends to be nobles. They express their feelings through living dolls that also constantly clean the house covered with soot. One such servant, Emilico, assists master Kate as they learn more about themselves and the mysteries of the house.
Kazuki Ohashi (episode director for Kakegurui, Girlish Number, Ace Attorney Season 2) is directing the anime series at CloverWorks, and Toshiya Ono (The Promised Neverland, Gatchaman Crowds, tsuritama) is supervising the series scripts. Chizuko Kusakabe (Pumpkin Scissors, Trouble Chocolate) is designing the characters, and Kenichiro Suehiro (Cells at Work!, Golden Kamuy, Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) is composing the music.
The manga launched in Weekly Young Jump in September 2018. Shueisha published the manga’s tenth compiled book volume on March 18. Yen Press licensed the manga.
