We start this new year with the second season of the anime, where a lot of new characters will be introduced. Shangri-La Frontier is a gaming and adventure anime where almost everything takes place in the game. Our main character is a junk game connoisseur who loves to master broken and buggy games. One day, MC came across a new game and he realized that the skills he gained from playing broken games gave him an advantage.

Summarize
In the previous episode of Shangri-La Frontier, we saw Sunraku fight a new Dragonfly character and show off his skills. Essentially, Sunraku decided to pick someone new and train him so he could prove useful in the future. Dragonfly tried his best to defeat Sunraku but was unable to defeat his superior skills and strength.
After the fight ended, Sunraku actually congratulated Dragonfly for discovering a new bug and he even gave the honor of naming Dragonfly because he was the one who found it. Dragonfly is an insect control player with skills mainly related to winged insects.
Afterwards, Sunraku returned to his residence and decided that he wanted to improve his own skills by combining some of his skills together. There is a skill garden in the villa where Emul’s sister Elke works as an instructor. Emul is actually one of the triplets, which is definitely news to viewers.
Elke seems to have a rather aggressive personality hidden behind his sweet smile. Sunraku opens his skills tab to decide which skills he wants to fuse and purchase. He was definitely in a dilemma and although this particular scene didn’t add much to the story, it certainly made viewers laugh a lot.
After the struggle over his skill selection ended, Elke kicked him out of the garden and poor Sunraku was left hurt. He goes to a bar with Kei to meet Towa Amane, who is waiting for them. Towa tells Sunraku that she has decided on the war against the guardian of Wethermon’s Tomb but there is still a problem.
Her Ashura-kai were the only ones who knew the requirements to fulfill Wethermon, and they were also taking advantage of the monster system to level up drastically. Basically, the Ashura-kai don’t want anyone hunting Wethermon, so Sunraku may have to confront them to fight it.
