Kodoani.com – Atlus has officially announced that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will launch June 21 on multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
In this new version, there is an additional storyline called Canon of Vengeance, which brings significant changes to the second half of the plot. The new storyline will introduce all-new characters, new dungeons and maps to explore, along with a new group of demons known as the Quadistu.
All previous DLC will also be included in Vengeance, including the Return of the True Demon mission, which features a boss battle against the protagonist of Shin Megami Tensei III.
According to Atlus, Canon of Vengeance has much of the same content as the original routes, so the estimated average playtime will be around 80 hours.
Shin Megami Tensei V was originally released on Nintendo Switch in 2021 and will now expand its reach to a variety of platforms, giving players the opportunity to experience this unique adventure on their favorite platform. .
