Kodoani.com – Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service editor-in-chief, Shūhei Hosono and manga creator Shōichi Taguchi are recruiting an assistant for manga artist Ganmo and a combined assistant service for their new serialized manga series. The job site says that assistants will be asked to paint floors, small items, crowd scenes and complete tasks like color grading. Taguchi is looking for assistants who can work from home and has posted a schedule from February 10 to March 31.
The recruitment site adds that Taguchi is looking for temporary assistants for the first four chapters of the new manga, which will be serialized weekly, and one to two regular assistants for the fifth and subsequent chapters.
Taguchi launched the manga I Sold My Life for Ten Thousand Yen Per Year (Jumyō wo Kaitotte Moratta. Ichinen ni Tsuki, Ichiman’en de.) in August 2016 on the Shonen Jump+ app and website, and the series The manga ended in October 2017.
