Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku was announced previously? The original anime has revealed a new trailer that includes the opening theme song “GA-TAN GO-TON” by Rei Nakashima. The anime is expected to premiere as part of the Spring 2024 lineup in April. StudioEMT Squared is handling the animation.
Tsutomu Mizushima (Shirobako, Another) is directing Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku? anime, with Asako Nishida serving as character designer and animation director. Michiko Yokote is responsible for compiling the series. Namo is credited as the original character designer. Miho Tsujibayashi is composing music. The cast includes:
- Chika Anzai vai Shizuru Chikura
- Azumi Waki strong vai Nadeshiko Hoshi
- Erisa Kuon or Reimi Kuga
- Hina Kino vào vai Akira Shinonome
The anime will follow Shizuru and her friends as they find themselves on an abandoned train, which suddenly departs and takes them to a new town. Together they embark on a journey to discover what lies beyond the train tracks. The title can be translated as Where Does This Train Stop?. The anime was announced in 2022 and the first trailer was revealed last July. Kadokawa is producing the original series.
