Record of Ragnarok (Shuumatsu no Valkyrie) is the ultimate competition between the gods and humanity, the strongest warriors in history will face off against the most powerful gods from the god realm.
The chosen warriors will represent each side, with humanity being 13 of their 7 million years of history, all fighting to the death to see if humanity is worthy to last another 1000 years. .
At the present time, this bout is about to start to the eighth round with a total of fourteen people who have fought so far. All are strong, however some are stronger than others.
Kojiro Sasaki is the strongest defeated in history
During his life as a swordsman, Kojiro Sasaki lost every duel he participated in. Luckily for humanity, Sasaki is the perfect embodiment of learning from failure rather than success.
Every loss made him a better swordsman, Kojiro Sasaki’s mental visualization skills allowing him to simulate the match against his opponent multiple times in his head. And so on until completely overtake them.
Thanks to this skill, he defeated “The Tyrant of the Ocean” Poseidon, achieving the first victory for humanity. In terms of skill, Sasaki is one of the best, but if the opponent is not Poseidon but a more pure power, things will be very difficult for him.
Lu Bu can split the whole sky by himself

Shiva has the power of the god of destruction
As one of the highest ranked gods in Shuumatsu no Valkyrie, Shiva possesses tremendous power. Combining divine prowess, speed, and the demeanor of a master dancer, Shiva is a formidable opponent that few can match.
Combining the dance with the self-immolation skill gave Shiva a deadly attack, allowing him to cut through the wrestler Raiden Tameemon and cause the wound to burn instantly, a breaking skill. Raiden’s extremely strong defense.
Despite winning, Shiva lost three of his arms in the battle. Furthermore, the scramble to see who could compete first with Zeus showed that Shiva had no desire to confront him, the most powerful of the Greek gods.

The respect of the gods is a testament to Hades’ power and fame, because he considers himself the protector of his brothers.
During the Gigantom-Achy War, Hades single-handedly defeated all the Titans who tried to escape the prison of the Tartarus gods. They took advantage of the chaos then to attack the Greek gods, but unfortunately, Hades found out and went to the underworld alone.
Hades’ fighting style is similar to his brother Poseidon, but with significantly superior strength and skills.
Qin Shi Huang is a true king
When Hades is announced as a substitute gladiator on the side of the gods, the Valkyries respond with a mortal they believe can confront the King of the underworld, the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.
This was a very smart choice because Qin Shi Huang won in a very short time, when the gap between glory and defeat was only a few inches. He has a distinct fighting style and is able to counter Hades’ most powerful attacks.
The special ability of the eyes allows Qin Shi Huang to see and disrupt the flow of qi in the opponent’s body. His fighting style was able to overpower many gods, making Hermes reverent. It shows that the person who deserves the title of King more than anyone else has only one.
The Sixth Heavenly Demon King Three Weeks is an unstoppable demon
The sixth round of Shuumatsu no Valkyrie saw some changes to the roster of gladiators, the last to appear in the ring was the Sixth Heavenly Demon King Three Weeks. Despite his short appearance, Ba Tuan quickly established himself as one of the strongest fighters.
Three Weeks’ abilities are both strange and overwhelming, with each attack being fatal. Previously, Ba Tuan had destroyed half of the underworld, this must have been the most impressive show of strength before the match.
Possessing overwhelming strength, this is also the Sixth Heavenly Demon King’s only weakness, as he became restless when the Buddha showed his strength to be on par.
Adam does whatever it takes to protect humanity
There are few things stronger than a parent’s love, so it’s not surprising that the man who considers himself the father of all mankind is among the strongest. Adam’s willpower stood out above the others when he confronted Zeus, despite taking heavy damage.

Siddhartha Buddha is on the side of humanity
While most of the gods decided to destroy mankind, Buddha decided to protect them. Although initially on the list of gladiators on the side of the gods, Siddhartha Buddha immediately changed sides and pledged to fight for humanity.
He quickly emerged as one of the most powerful fighters of the Shuumatsu no Valkyrie by defeating Reifuku, a combination of the Seven Lucky Gods. His ability to see into the future allowed him to foresee an attack with perfect precision, making the Buddha nearly untouchable.
The Buddha even showed abilities on par with the Sixth Heavenly Demon King Three Weeks, whose soul was obscured by eternal darkness. He sliced his body in half with the Great Vien Xiklan, showing that his strength was not inferior to skill either.
Thor’s power is unstoppable
The gods approved the opening of Ragnarok with the first to battle Thor, the god claimed to be the most powerful in Northern Europe. Thor quickly established his reputation when launching attacks that no other warrior could match in strength.
Even when Lu Bu blocked Mjolnir’s attack, Mjolnir broke his leg and had to call Red Rabbit to fight with him. When the two unleashed their two strongest attacks on each other, Lu Bu’s Breaking Heaven was unable to defeat Thor.
Even outside of Ragnarok, Thor’s record is second to none, he single-handedly defeated the invasion of giants and Lu Bu’s entire army with ease.
Thor in Shuumatsu no Valkyrie is not as “funny” as the Thor that Marvel created in the MCU, but no one can doubt his warrior instincts.
Zeus is the most powerful god in the universe
The chairman of the council Valhalla, who presided over the assembly of all the gods, no one but Zeus should be worthy of the reputation of being the most powerful god. As the son of Kronos, he mastered his father’s most powerful move, the time-passing swift (a single blow that stopped time).
Zeus’ attacks were lightning fast, and Adam’s ability to respond to attacks showed amazing endurance. Sometimes this god seemed to have been defeated by Adam, however being a god gave him an advantage.
