Kodoani.com – The official website for the TV anime adaptation of the manga Skip and Loafer (Skip to Loafer) by Misaki Takamatsu posted the second promotional video and second main image for the anime on Saturday. The video reveals the artist singing the anime’s theme and the April 4 premiere date.
Keina Suda performed the opening theme song “Mellow” and Rikako Aida performed the ending theme song “Hanauta to Mawari Michi” (Humming and Detour).
The series will premiere on Tokyo MX channel on April 4 at 11:00 p.m. (10:00 a.m. EDT), and the anime will also stream on AT-X, Hokuriku Asahi Broadcasting, BS Asahi, and Kansai Telecasting Corporation.
Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs in Japan.

Kotomi Deai directed the anime and oversaw the series’ scripts at PA Works. Manami Umeshita is designing the characters and serving as the animation director. Takatsugu Wakabayashi will be composing the music.

Takamatsu launched the manga in Kodansha’s monthly Afternoon magazine in August 2018. Kodansha published the manga’s eighth compiled book volume on Monday.
The manga ranked 7th in manga for male readers in the 2020 edition of Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This comic is amazing!). It was nominated in the 13th Manga Taisho Awards in 2020, and was also nominated in the Best General Manga category of the 44th Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2020.
